It’s Winter in wine country and the growing season was kind to us!  We had quite a bit of rain early Spring of 2019 but spraying and cultural practices were timely in our tight windows of opportunity.  As the season progressed, the weather also improved and ended up being one of he best seasons that could rival 2012, 2015 and 2017.  Harvest for us at M started and ended within a 30-day hectic window but the fruit is sure to make memorable wines! Be sure to ask our knowledgeable team about all the happenings on our farms during your next visit.

We acquired a premium 19.8-acre vineyard parcel within arms reach of the winery.  This will grant us continued growth of our estate wine portfolio.  The entire vineyard is on a south slope and our initial planting was 2.5 acres of Cabernet Franc in 2018.   Our 2019 and 2020 vineyard expansion of 15000 vines on this site will include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay Pinot Noir and some new soon to be favorites at the winery.
