At M Cellars we believe in a quality over quantity approach to our craft winemaking. Crop loads are continually adjusted to maintain vine balance throughout the growing season. It is our belief that healthy vines produce the best quality fruit. Inside the winery our job is to simply guide the wine towards maximum quality, fruit forward character and ageability.
The 2014 growing season was warm and dry in southern Oregon. The fruit sourced for this wine was grown in a high elevation vineyard in Oregon's Rogue Valley. High levels of ripeness were achieved early which allowed us to harvest high quality, balanced fruit.
