At M Cellars we believe in a quality over quantity approach to our craft winemaking. Crop loads are continually adjusted to maintain vine balance throughout the growing season. It is our belief that healthy vines produce the best quality fruit. Inside the winery our job is to simply guide the wine towards maximum quality, fruit forward character and ageability.
The 2013 growing season was cool and wet, especially late in the season. Despite the challenging weather, we were able to achieve high levels of ripeness early which allowed us to harvest high quality, balanced fruit.
